Job Description

Position – Apple Mac/Windows Support engineer

Our client are a dynamic and fast growing Managed Service Provider, located in North West London where employees are encouraged and supported to develop their skills as part of an excellent, hardworking team.
An exciting opportunity exists for an Apple Mac/Windows Support engineer. You will work within a shift pattern 9am – 7pm providing a mixture of service desk/remote support, field support, IT projects and managed services to our growing customer base.  

?Prioritising issues and requests, direct into the Service Desk.
?Log and update all incident, change, problem and configuration tasks using AutoTask.
?Be proactive regarding known issues and problems.
?Escalate where appropriate.
?Working on projects, such as Office365 migrations, infrastructure upgrades, etc. 
?Fix and maintain, Apple Operating Systems and Servers, AD, Windows Server, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Exchange, Office365 etc.
?Security and Patching updates
?Aim to have a first time fix rate of 90%.
Key Skills Required:

?Experienced in supporting Apple Operating Systems and Servers. (Apple ACSP or ACTC Certification would be advantageous)
?Knowledge of Apple hardware
?Microsoft Experience (preferably but not essential MSCE) – incl. AD, Exchange, Office 365, Intune MDM
?Experience of Network/Firewalls/Printers setup and maintenance
?Experience with Mobile Phone/Ipad setup
?Ability to Manage SLA’s and Priorities
?Good Customer Service skills – Able to communicate clearly and precisely
?Excellent background in Technical Support – Managed services environment an advantage
?Knowledge of ITIL an advantage
