Field Service Engineer
This is a predominantly client facing role so customer service skills are paramount.
Managing own workload and working closely with clients is a fundamental part of the role.
Job Role
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for –
·Implementing client facing solutions including determining correct spec of laptops/desktops, small Wi-Fi solutions, peripheral devices and some Audio-Visual requirements. Build and deliver these solutions
·Set customer expectations – should never be left thinking what’s happening and giving a good overall plan/time of delivery
·Assist with the implementations of large projects when needed
·Performing actions to SLA defined
Travel to client sites and performing either on-site repairs or return to base and fix
Carry out preventative maintenance visits.
You will possess excellent communication skills, and act in a polite and professional manner at all times. You will be working in a problem-solving role covering the below key experience topics. Some support tickets may be escalated to a site visit where required and you would be responsible for attending.

·2 years’ experience with PC/Server/Network Infrastructure Support which includes –
oWindows 7/8/10 + Office apps
oWindows Server 2008/2012/2016 + Windows SBS /2008/2011 – configuring/support
oExchange server 2007/2010/2013/2016 – config/support
oMS RDS services
oOffice 365 config/support
oGroup Policy/AD/DNS/DHCP
oHardware Firewalls and routers – config/support
oNetworking – config/support
