Job Title: Java Developer
Location: City of London (Remote)
Sector: FinTech / Banking
Salary: Mid-level – £50,000 – £65,000 neg.
                                Senior – £70,000 – £85,000 neg.
 
Vertex IT Solutions is working with an exciting Fintech org.
This business is looking to scale up its dev team by 50% in 2022!
We have multiple vacancies for mid – senior Java developers who are excited by FinTech businesses and can make a disruptive difference in the Banking space.
 
The Role:
·Developing software in Java or C++
·Influential in the development of specific features or components
·Be a key contributor, overseeing aspects of analysis and design
·Designing, development and testing system enhancements/changes
·Producing technical analysis, design documents and specifications
·Producing and justifying estimates for design/development tasks
·Working with Support to explain and handover new functionality
 
The successful candidates will have:
·Experience developing distributed, enterprise scale applications
·Extensive experience of working with languages such as Java, C++, Scala
·Experience working on PostgreSQL or other large-scale databases
·Experience delivering on a cloud-based platform such as AWS
·Strong knowledge of Java 8, Spring-Boot, Microservices
·Comfortable with all aspects of the software design lifecycle
