Through this time Vertex IT Solutions has witnessed two recessions along with peaks and troughs of demand. We have adapted our foundation of knowledge inline with our clients’ needs. Moving from client/server requirements to Cloud (PaaS, SaaS & IaaS) environments, the emergence of Open Source technologies and use-ability of Mobile applications.

Our History

Vertex IT Solutions was formed in October 2000 by Tony Cook and Mark Jeffcoat. Tony, coming from an Oracle Technologies background and Mark, having specialised in Networking and Support for many years. This formed the backbone of the organisation for many years until in 2008 we were joined by Keith Jeffcoat, who, from a Development background completed the circle of experience.

Keith, Mark & Tony come from a customer service orientated background and were disillusioned by the recruitment market and in particular the lack of professionalism at that time. It was the aim (and still is) to provide the highest level of customer service possible for both our recruiting clients and our candidates. By doing this we develop long-standing and trusting relationships with both.

Since surviving the worst recession in history, Vertex has gone from strength-to-strength. We now own our offices in Beckenham and employ over 25 skilled recruiters. Currently, we provide expertise across Networking & Infrastructure, Dev Ops, Development (Systems & Web), Oracle Technologies, Testing, Training, IT Sales, Business Intelligence & Big Data, Cloud Technology, Business Analysis and Project/Program Management.
